To dream of crystal in any form, is a fatal sign of coming depression either in social relations or business transactions. Electrical storms often attend this dream, doing damage to town and country.
For a woman to dream of seeing a dining-room furnished in crystal, even to the chairs, she will have cause to believe that those whom she holds in high regard no longer deserve this distinction, but she will find out that there were others in the crystal-furnished room, who were implicated also in this sinister dream.
Dreams of crystals symbolize your eternal self. These conductors of energy represent the amplification of your intent and your ability to bring forth your goals, visions and desires into realization. Your dream is showing you that that you are harmonizing and attuning yourself to your highest and greatest possibilities.
Vision: Looking at crystal glass is always a warning: be more realistic and don’t fall prey to desires and illusions. See Glass. Breaking crystal glass: you are losing a good friendship because of your carelessness. Crystal jewelry is a positive sign for your inner clarity, concentration, and the fulfillment of your greatest hopes and desires.
A crystal ball can forecast your future. Other images in the dream will provide important information. See Psychic, Witch.
Depth Psychology: Crystals show the basic personality traits that have “crystallized” over the course of your life. They also point to your intellectual strength.
A crystal ball reflects the expectations and hopes you have for the future.
(see by type, Gems, Jrweliy, Stones) Clear crystals: purity, refinement, and accuracy.
A single crystal: The core of self, our identity and existence. Look at how the crystal appears for more interpretive value. Is it clear, multifaceted, cloudy?
Clear vision, discernment, or foresight. Smooth crystal surfaces were used for scrying throughout history, in numerous cultures including that of Medieval Europe
and Victorian America. Watch and see if any symbols or images form in the sphere, and use those as a starting point for interpretation (see Divination).
As with gems, each crystal has different interpretive value and represents various omens. Agate, for example, portends positive business ventures, while amethyst reveals contentment with your work. Conversely, dreaming of losing an amethyst signals the loss of love or self-control. Here is a brief list of other common crystals and their interpretations. Note that many meanings correlate to the crystal’s color:
Bloodstone: wish fulfillment Lodestone: enticement Camelian: luck and safety Malachite: peaceful rest Garnet: faithfulness Onyx: discord Hematite: charm and grace Opal: change, bad luck Jet: sadness and mourning Quartz: energy, strength
What happens to the crystal in the dream will alter the interpretation.
To illustrate, having a bloodstone shatter probably indicates that you feel as if your hopes have been dashed, whereas receiving the gift of a lapis might indicate an openness to develop your latent psychic abilities.
Something precious, to be cared for and guarded with due diligence.
The gem of truth. Facts revealing themselves.
Commitments and devotion. Precious gems, especially diamonds, are exchanged as part of engagement or wedding rites.
In a ring: Authority. Popes, kings, and other authority figures often wear gold rings mounted with precious gems as a sign of office.
Metaphysically: Assisted health, protection, or improved personal characteristics. People in nearly every ancient culture carried or wore precious gems as amulets, charms, and talismans for a variety of positive purposes.
Each precious or semiprecious gem carries different meanings within a dream. Amber equates to feeling trapped, diamonds are for love, emeralds represent resourcefulness, and garnets portend the end to a period of questioning. Additionally, jade indicates health, moonstone stands for foresight and all things feminine, opal represents financial
situations, ruby is a type of fire dream, and sapphire shows faithfulness on your part.

Faceted gems represent different aspects in something or someone, including the Divine and yourself.
Gems and minerals, as expressions of beauty and radiance. bring a list of attributes to the dreamer when unearthed within a dream. They may appear as a piece of jewelry or in a raw form to bring essential qualities of light and radiance to the individual who receives, finds, or wears them. Many of these specimens from the mineral kingdom bnng healing qualities that attune and balance the mind, emotions, and body Their appearance in a dream represents your direct connection with the Lower World kingdom of minerals. Gems deliver the gift of healing energy and power. (See Diamond, Emerald, Ruby.)
From a spiritual point of view, gems and jewels have always had esoteric significance.
The understanding and use of gems and jewels can greatly enhance personal development. In most dreams it is the better-known stones which appear, but when the lesser-known ones are seen, there is much benefit to be gained by learning more on a conscious level. Many stones have healing properties.
Material aspects: Jewels appearing in dreams almost invariably symbolize those things that we value. These may be personal qualities, our sense of integrity, our ability to be ourselves, or even our very essential being. When we feel we know what we are looking for, we are aware on some level of its value to us or others. When we simply register that we are looking for jewels, sometimes up a mountain, otherwise in a cave, we are attempting to find those parts of ourselves that we know will be of value in the future. Counting or in some way assessing them would suggest a time of reflection is needed. One system of belief suggests the following practical meanings: amethyst promotes healing and influences dreams. Diamond signifies human greed, hardness of nature and what we value from a cosmic perspective. Emerald highlights personal growth. Opal suggests the inner world of fantasies, dreams and psychic awareness. Pearl signifies inner beauty and value. Ruby informs on emotions, passion and sympathies. Sapphire highlights religious feelings.
Vision: Looking at or buying precious stones is a recommendation: learn to live without many of the things you have been taking for granted. Losing a precious stone: unexpected good fortune will come your way.
Depth Psychology: Precious stones represent the untouchable center of your personality. Dreaming about owning jewelry says much about you. See Diamonds, Jewelry, Precious Stones. Here is some of what they symbolize:
Amethyst: intellectual flights of fancy, without losing a sense of reality, however.
Diamond: spiritual awareness/perception, but sometimes also impersonal, emotional coldness, or drive for power.
Lapis lazuli: sensibility; but also it stands for your friends and your physical vitality.
Opal: your imagination, your dream life, and the purification of urges and greed.
Pearl: serenity but also depth born of suffering. Ruby: emotional warmth, true humanity, true love, and positive interpersonal relationships.
Sapphire: religiosity, renouncing the carnal and sexual to the point of being too intellectual.
Emerald: the power of consciousness and emotional balance, because vou have “found yourself.”
The reward for discovering this treasure is the ultimate in purity of the soul. On the other hand, it might also be a warning of confusion, inadequacy, and idle fascination—particularly when in the form of jewelry, such as Amber and other crystals.
