Compare this to C. J. Jung’s 1909 dream in which— while exploring a house—he finds a flight of stairs that leads to the basement, where he discovers bones and human skulls. This dream was important because it led to Jung’s idea of the collective unconscious: Attics and basements are places that hold what we repress; rooms in the upper part of a house provide perspective and vision; bedrooms indicate sexual content; the kitchen is the place where alchemy provides transformation; the bath is the place for cleansing; a workroom is the place for everyday situations.

Basement/cellar The cellar most often represents the subconscious and those things we may have suppressed through an inability to handle them.
A basement can also highlight the power that is available to us provided we are willing to make use of it. We may not have come to terms with our own sexuality and prefer to keep it hidden. Bathroom In dreams our attitude to personal cleanliness and our most private thoughts and actions can be shown as the bathroom or toilet. Bedroom The bedroom portrays a place of safety where we can relax and be as sensual as we wish. Chimney As a passage from one state to another and a conductor of heat, in dreams the chimney can indicate how we deal with our inner emotions and warmth. Hall The hallway in a dream is illustrative of how we meet and relate to other people. Library Our minds, and how we store the information we receive, can appear as a library.
2- A house represents security and safety, and therefore signifies protection and the Great Mother.

(Or any place of residence) if we are aware that the house is not empty – that it is furnished in some way – those articles will mirror some aspect of our character or day-to-day concerns. Also consult the individual entry for furniture / furnishings. Being aware of someone else in the house suggests that we may be feeling threatened by an aspect of our own personality.
If there are different activities going on it indicates that there is a conflict between two parts of our personality, possibly the creative and the intellectual. Being especially aware of the front of the house portrays the facade we show to the outside world, whereas going into / out of the house indicates we need to decide whether to be more introverted or more extroverted in our dealings with other people.
An impressive, awe-inspiring house indicates that we are conscious of the self or the soul. Dreaming of moving to a larger house shows there is need for a change in our lives, perhaps to achieve a more open way of life, or even for more space. Being outside a house depicts our more public side and how we relate to external interests. Dreaming of a small house, or the house where we were born or grew up, means we are seeking security, or perhaps the safeguards of childhood, when we had little responsibility.
If we find the smallness of the house constricting, we feel we are being trapped by our responsibilities.
If we are aware of work being carried out on the house (cementing, repairing etc.) It implies that relationships may need to be worked on or repaired, or perhaps we need to look at health matters. We should take note of any damage, decay or difficulty that has occurred in our lives.
If you dream of visiting a house you used to live in, and the house is in good condition, it is a very good omen. You will soon hear some very good news and you will find love and joy in your present home.

Thus if we take a large house with its many functional rooms, the library would represent the mind, the bathroom cleansing or renewal of good feelings, the bedrooms one’s sexuality or intimacy, the roof one’s protectiveness or ‘coping mechanisms’. Large public buildings such as hospitals, factories, blocks of flats, depict particular functions suggested by their nature. But of course, if the house or building has a personal connection—the house you live in, or place you have worked—then you need to define what are the essential feelings about such. Also, consider if you have stopped pursuing your dreams. Conversely, the empty warehouse is a representation that all of your inner resources have been burned up. It is time to take a break and recharge your batteries.
If the warehouse is full, then this dream is about abundance of resources and/or unfulfilled potential. This also may be about unfulfilled dreams of the past, memories and ambitions you’ve put in storage.
If the warehouse is empty, then your dream is telling you to pay attention to your finances, and begin to invest your time, money and energy in ways that will create spiritual and material security for yourself.
If a person dreams that he has dug a well in his house or he merely dreams of a well present in his house and such a well swells with water it means that Allah will grant him much barakah in his wealth and such wealth will become a means of earning him increased livelihood without much toil and hard work.
In the above case if the well is seen sending froth all its water until it becomes exhausted, it means he will lose much of his wealth with very little remaining.
